"It's not the steps, it's the vision and meaning you put into them" Katelyn; a former Competitive dancer @ Jacques Dance Expressions, Team Rave San Fransico and Hype Dance Studio began her training at Colleens Dance Factory. While furthing her dance experience as she grew up, Katelyn decided to become a studio hopper and travel to numerous locations to take classes from some of the top studios in Northern California. While traveling she danced at Jacques Dance Expression, Hype Dance Studio, Dream Weaver Dance theatre and Team Rave. Also taking classes and conventions in locations such as San Jose, Sacramento, and Los Angelos. Although she loved to Dance, She had a bigger passion in life; that was teaching. Katelyn started teaching and choreographing at the age of 14. Working events such as Car Shows, half times, and Youth Cheerleader programs. Katelyn has taught at many places. Miladie, Cutting edge Fitness, DreamWeaver Dance Theatre, Jacques Dance expressions. She has also had the pleasure of dancing half times for the Sacramento Kings and Harlem Globetrotters. Katelyn is excited and thrilled to be apart of JDE and is looking forward to what's to come.
